In addition to the chef’s gourmet kitchen, game room with foosball and ping pong, and the luxury marble bathrooms, this home also has a fully-equipped outdoor deck and kitchen area, where you can enjoy the dramatic mountain views over Boone. You’ll also love the vaulted ceilings in the living room and master bedroom, which adds a touch of elegance to this already stunning vacation rental.
4. Wood Cabin with Separate Mother-in-Law Apartment

Affectionately referred to as “Bearadise City,” this rental has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and can sleep up to 9 guests. Our favorite feature of this home is the great room, which has large windows that look out into the forest.
On the outside, you’ll find a hot tub, grill, and fireplace, where you can spend the evening relaxing under the twinkling stars. You can also watch TV (there’s cable in every room,) play your favorite board game, or post up in the cozy reading nook on the second floor.
7. Secluded Cabin in the Forest of Valle Crucis

Although the house only has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it feels much more spacious thanks to the vaulted ceilings and open floor plan. We also love the outdoor wraparound deck, which has a gas grill, picnic table, waterfall feature, and six-person hot tub. You and your pet will love spending a relaxing weekend away in this peaceful, private vacation getaway.

As you step foot inside the front door, you’ll immediately notice the lofty 21-foot ceiling in the great room, with exposed wooden beams and a stone fireplace. The master bedroom is fit for a king, with a walk-in closet, a separate bathroom with jacuzzi-tub and stone shower, and a private entrance to one of the two decks. The other deck is located on the main level and features a grill, dining set, and hot tub.

Hang out by the fire in the living room, relaxing on the rocking chairs out on the front porch, or enjoy a soothing dip in the outdoor 7-person hot tub. This cabin is also the ideal place to stay in the winter, as you’ll be just a five-minute walk from the slopes of the Appalachian Ski Mountains.
11. Child and Pet-Friendly Boone Cabin

There are plenty of Boone cabins with nice views, but this one in Azalea Hill takes the cake. The floor-to-ceiling windows (and floor-to-ceiling fireplace) in the great room overlooking the surrounding hillside and valley, with rhododendron and mountain laurel blossoms. You can also open the french-style doors and walk out onto the deck, where you’ll find chairs and a bbq grill.
With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, this rental home can sleep up to 11 guests. Not only is the home pet-friendly, but it’s also small child-friendly, with toddler toys and baby-locked cabinets. There is also a hot tub, pool table, and ping pong table, which is also great for older kids (or anyone who considers themself a kid at heart.)
12. Cozy Cabin Next to Appalachian Ski Mountains

This rustic-chic log cabin is perfect for a winter getaway (it’s located within walking distance from the snowy Appalachian Ski Mountains), although it’s still a beautiful place to stay during any month of the year. It’s located on a 1/4 acre property surrounded by a forest of Hardwoods and Rhododendrons which provides tranquility and privacy away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
In total, this two bedroom cabin can sleep up to six guests, with two people sleeping on the pull-out sofa in the living room. After you and your friends come back from the slopes, you can unwind by the fireplace or keep warm next to the outdoor fire pit with your pup by your side. There are also plenty of board games and even a smart TV with a Netflix and Amazon Prime hookup so you can stay entertained during our stay.
13. Large Cabin with Breathtaking Mountain Views

Perched above Blue Ridge Parkway towering above the mountains and valleys, the appropriately nicknamed “Summit View” cabin is one of the top destinations for a weekend retreat.
The floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the surroundings while also bringing in tons of light into the great room, while the outdoor deck allows you to relax in peace while still soaking in the fresh mountain air. In addition to the jaw-dropping views, the deck also has a hot tub and covered seating area.
We love the duel fireplace system (stone fireplace and wood-burning stove), as well as the wet bar and game room den with a pool table. The cabin is also decorated with luxury finishes like custom-built furniture and granite countertops.
The jetted jacuzzi-style tub in the main floor master suite also has windows that look out onto the mountains so that you can relax in style. Best of all, you’re just a five-minute drive away from all the best attractions and villages, like Blowing Rock, the Tweetsie Railroad amusement park, and the Appalachian Ski Mountain.
