After spending countless hours scouring websites like Airbnb and VRBO for dog-friendly vacation rentals and pet friendly cabins, becoming frustrated at not finding the right accommodations… the idea of Doggy Check In was born. We’re on a mission to make it easy for dog parents to plan a vacation without spending hours researching the perfect place that will suit the needs of the whole family. Doggy Check In aspires to create a fun and informative resource for dog, and pet parents alike. Doggy Check In’s team of pet travel experts are equipped to help you find fun, cool, and unique pet friendly resources and vacation home rentals. With our combined pet, travel, and research skills, our hope for Doggy Check In to help dog lovers discover and plan their paw-fect pet friendly getaway.

Kara and Winnie were born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Kara loves social media management, writing, dog training, running successful podcasts and spending countless hours finding the perfect pet friendly VRBO and Airbnb rentals throughout the U.S.

Liz is a Arizona native and mom two young children and one not so young Boston Terrier, Leroy. Leroy has been the center of her family’s beautiful life, which includes tons of travel and road trips. She is also a loving doggy aunt to Winston, Bullseye and Maple – a Boston Terrier, English Bully and Wheaten Terrier.

Liz is a travel, hiking and foodie junkie. She is always on the hunt for family and dog friendly activities and restaurants so they can all enjoy time together. Liz owns a cabin in Flagstaff and loves exploring Northern Arizona, which has given her a new found love of traditional cabins.
